A large tunic fragment with fringes from the Chimu or Chancay Culture in Peru, made from camelid fibers, c. 11th to 15th century AD. The design is arranged in stripes, alternately worked in plain weave and tapestry technique, including water birds in diamond lattice. Fixed on paper.
