A small Thai pedestal silver tray made in several parts. With repoussed and incised decoration of an animal and flower scrolls. Dimension: diameter: c. 14 cm, 6 cm high, weight: 163 g. Condition: few traces of usage.

An exclusive large belt buckle made from a silver alloy bordered by two elephants. The center mounted with a pierced jade medaillon showing a bird by two bolts ending in a flower, surrounded by four lion heads, turquoise and coral or carnelian cabochons. Dating to the 19th/20th century. Condition: traces of usage, one flower bolt with a small loss (please look carefully at the photos, they make part of the condition report). Dimension: c. 12.8 cm long x 9 cm high, weight: 155 g.

A kneeling fish seller beholding his coop with huge fishes. The earthenware figure painted in polychrome colors, the skin areas in matt glaze orange. Condition: Good. Dimensions: 10,7 cm high x 9,5 cm wide. Weight: 302 gram.

A small Chinese gilded silver dish standing on four splayed feet, with pierced design of dragons, bamboo chrysanthemum and prunus among rocaille. Base with maker's mark in Chinese characters. A gunpowder horn dating to the 19th / early 20th century. The curved body is made from water buffalo horn, the wide end with a wooden stopper, the suspension area with a Singha head and a bronze chain. The gunpowder was stored in the Batak house in large gourds, the chief carried his own personal supply in such containers, which he wore suspended from a chain around his neck. Condition: the spout was originally with a closing mechanism now partially lost, some small losses and lost pins...

A Pwo Karen woman's tunic completely embroidered with lozenge-shaped and zigzag pattern, accentuated with Job's tears seeds. Condition: few loose threads, clean. Dimension: c. 65 x 53 cm. Base marked "Nanking", mark of the Nanking Silver Store in Shanghai. Condition: the cap with one, the foot and beaker's rim with small dents. A beautiful pair of genuine arm cuff bracelets worn by the women of the Turkmen Tekke tribe. They are made of silver with gilding and set with carnelian cut with flat top. A Padang Highlands gilt brass kettle with false lid and a lidded box standing on three legs, both cast with the lost wax method showing floral and geometric motifs. Condition: both lids with few tiny casting holes, the box interior with some rust, both items with traces of usage. Two large unmounted vintage photographs dating from around 1910 in Burma (British India), taken by a Burmese photographer (one with superimposed inscription: Ma Tok Mandalay). A Japanese studio porcelain okimono of Daruma (the legendary Chinese Buddhist monk Bodhidharma), dating to the first half of the 20th C. The long robe with thick celadon glaze, the face with fierce expression, the ears with movable earrings. Base with sealmark. Condition: fine, one ear with firing crack. Elegant silver cigarette case, the lid decorated with bamboo. Inside marked "Tackhing", "90% silver" and a Chinese character mark. This silversmith was active between the late 19th century and early 20th century in Hong Kong. With original blue silk lined paper box, the lid with glass. Figured blue silk. Stitched on embroidered roundels with design of a boy holding flowers. Applied with black silk band and ribbon at the collar, cuffs and hem. On yellow silk satin in satin stitch and Peking knot beautifully embroidered sleeve bands with flowers, peaches and bats. Peach colored silk lining. Condition: One roundel at the back and parts of the ribbon missing. Some wear and minor staining, loose threads, lining worn, repair. Dimension: Sleeve to sleeve 148 cm, 57 cm high.

These two saddle rugs, in knotted pile, are forming a pair and were used together: the larger piece with trapezoid ends served as a saddle cloth (makden), while the smaller rug was a saddle cover (masho). Both items are in their original condition, with a red trim and backed with a coarse beige fabric. Provenance: old Swiss collection. Dimension approx.: makden: 120.5 x 67 cm, masho: 82.5 x 66 cm. Condition: signs of age and wear, rims with partial discoloration, faded.

An extraordinary photo frame made of steel and decorated with flower heads and foliage in silver koftgari work, the surface covered with gilt lacquer. Condition: without glass, decoration with minimal wear and loss of lacquer. Dimension: 25.5 cm, 15.5 cm wide, weight: 364g.

A quite tall lantern-shaped opium lamp with openwork decoration of birds, bats, floral motifs and auspicious characters. Condition: glass is missing, top is slightly bent, some polishing residue. Dimension: 17.8 cm high.

A pair woman's Paduka in fish form, made of hardwood and inlaid with brass wire. Base inscribed "Hindu bath sandals" and "Anna Broadwood". A similar pair in the Bata Shoe Museum Collection in Toronto. Dimension: c. 22 cm long, 8.8 cm wide, total height: 8.4 cm. Condition: few traces of usage, a short section with missing wire (see picture no. 2).

A wonderful woman's wedding hip wrapper made of cotton with wax resist dyed decoration and gilding. The kepala is showing a peacock on a tree, the badan with two long-tailed birds among flowers. Condition: amazingly good state of the gilding, the left and right edge with some tears and few holes. The badan with a small angled tear. Maybe shortened. Dimension: c. 101.5 cm x 174 cm.
