A cigarette case made of iron, partially damascened in different golds and silver, inspired by the famous sculpture of the American artist James Earle Fraser (1876-1953) "End of the Trail", which he designed in the late 19th C. The interior with the Otojiro's mark with dragonfly. Condition: traces of usage, two tiny retouches, tiny scratches, elastic band tired, not perfectly closing, interior with left below corner slightly corroded (last photo). Dimension closed: c. 8.6 x 8.1 cm.

An antique silver seal chop made in China for the export. The handle decorated with a coiling dragon, the seal matrix with a "W" in intaglio. Silver tested, unmarked. Condition: fine, some traces of usage. Dimension: 6.7 cm high, weight: 32 g.

A rare Tausug raw silk sash fragment woven in two pieces. Tapestry weaving with geometric pattern and zigzag design from the Sulu Archipelago near Mindanao in the Philippines. Engagement book made by the famous Yamanaka & Co. Inc. in New York. Antique Chinese brocade with dragons in roundels between auspicious symbols and an open-worked white jade plaque, dating from the 19th century, assembled to a diary with mechanical pencil. Condition: edges of the brocade with wear and tears. Dimension: book: 19.3 cm x 15.3 cm, weight: 260 g, jade: 5.8 cm x 5.8 cm.

Heart-shaped purse embroidered on both sides in counted stitch with bats in gold thread among clouds. Burgundy colored drawstring and tassels with silver and gold threads, paper lining. Condition: fabric of the aperture somewhat brittle. Dimension: 9.5 cm x 8.5 cm x c. 1.5 cm.

These two saddle rugs, in knotted pile, are forming a pair and were used together: the larger piece with trapezoid ends served as a saddle cloth (makden), while the smaller rug was a saddle cover (masho). A wonderful woman's wedding hip wrapper made of cotton with wax resist dyed decoration and gilding. The kepala is showing a peacock on a tree, the badan with two long-tailed birds among flowers. Condition: amazingly good state of the gilding, the left and right edge with some tears and few holes. The badan with a small angled tear. Maybe shortened. Dimension: c. 101.5 cm x 174 cm.

An exclusive large belt buckle made from a silver alloy bordered by two elephants. The center mounted with a pierced jade medaillon showing a bird by two bolts ending in a flower, surrounded by four lion heads, turquoise and coral or carnelian cabochons. On yellow silk satin in satin stitch and Peking knot beautifully embroidered sleeve bands with flowers, peaches and bats. Peach colored silk lining.
