A quite large mother of pearl shell carving, the pierced decoration is showing the deity Magu among birds and flowers. Condition: the rim with a short crack, without stand. Dimension: c. 20.5 cm long x 17.6 cm high.

A beautiful pair of genuine arm cuff bracelets worn by the women of the Turkmen Tekke tribe. They are made of silver with gilding and set with carnelian cut with flat top. An oval box made of white brass (baitong). The top lid incised with banana leaves, chrysanthemum and bamboo. The inside of the lid with an abrasive surface for grinding ink. With copper lining and base. Dimension: 7.6 cm x 5.8 cm x 2.6 cm. Condition: traces of use, top lid with spot and some wear.

A silver jam jar standing on three ball feet with handle and glass insert. Beautifully decorated with plum blossom and bird in relief. With maker's mark "SF" standing for Sing Fat, who worked in the early 20th century in Canton, a Chinese character mark and "90". Condition: few traces of usage, insert with rim frittings. A beautiful gunpowder horn dating to the 19th / early 20th century. Please visti the website of the Metropolitan Museum for a similar Parpanggalahan (www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/316143). The slightly curved body is made from water buffalo horn, carved with curvilinear motifs, and one metal insert.
