A large and rare Siamese reliquary urn in stupa-form, worked in repousse silver, the lid and the base filled with a sort of resin or clay. Condition: please look at the photos, dented, deformations, splits, few small losses. Dimension: height: c. 41 cm, weight: c. 1.1 kg.

Two silver teapots, both with strainer and hinged cover on pouring spout. Beautifully made with floral decoration, the knobs in bud-shape. Both marked "ZR800". Provenance: Swiss-Dutch family living in Indonesia in the first half of the 20th C. Condition: few traces of usage. Dimension: large teapot: c. 22.3 cm high, 17.8 cm wide, weight: 607 g, small one: c. 15.4 cm x 12.4 cm, weight: 417 g. Total weight: 1.024 kg.

Six antique bronze opium weights from Burma. The lion-dogs are standing on an octagonal base. The four largest ones having a verification mark in front of the base. Nice patina, the smallest weight with greenish patina might be a different alloy. Weights approx.: 300 g (20 tical), 155 g (10 tical), 146 g (10 tical), 73 g (5 tical), 31 g (2 tical) and 16 g (1 tical). Dimension: largest: 5.9 cm high. Condition: nice patina, traces of age.

A lovely wood carving of a pair from Bali. Meticulously carved and painted, the man with keris and the woman holding an offering, standing on a base. Condition: the base with some cracks and a small loss, the hilt of the keris glued, paint with few losses and wear. Dimension: c. 27 cm high.

A Padang Highlands gilt brass kettle with false lid and a lidded box standing on three legs, both cast with the lost wax method showing floral and geometric motifs. Condition: both lids with few tiny casting holes, the box interior with some rust, both items with traces of usage. Dimension: kettle: c. 21.5 cm high, c. 15 cm long, box: c. 13.8 cm high, diameter: c. 13 cm, weight together: 1400 g.

A rare Burmese book with paper (made from mulberry tree bark) pages, the front and back covers with lacquer relief decoration with small inset glass spangles. The central panels showing the title of the book in Burmese script. Approximately 280 pages, handwritten in black Burmese script, edges gilt. Condition: covers are dusty (one is dirty) and with some wear, some corners with small losses. Pages with few stains, but wormholes. Dimension: 39.4 x 17.6 x 9.5 cm, weight: 2.4 kg.

A gunpowder horn dating to the 19th / early 20th century. The curved body is made from water buffalo horn, the wide end with a wooden stopper, the suspension area with a Singha head and a bronze chain. The gunpowder was stored in the Batak house in large gourds, the chief carried his own personal supply in such containers, which he wore suspended from a chain around his neck. Condition: the spout was originally with a closing mechanism now partially lost, some small losses and lost pins...

Carmine red silk ground fabric with star lattice pattern in silver and gold paper wrapped threads, using the songket supplementary weft technique. Maybe a ceremonial shoulder cloth (kain selendang). A leather or skin bag with original wonderfully cast brass fittings, both ends of the chain in the form of a singha head, the mythical beast, totem for all Batak People. Shamans "datu" kept magical substances in these bags. Please compare to the "salipi" in the collection of the "Musee du Quai Branly" in Paris. Condition: wear to leather and few small holes. Dimension: leather bag: c. 30 high x 31 wide x 10.8 cm deep, chain: 2 x 44 cm long.

A large betel-box "kun it" with one internal tray, made of woven and coiled split bamboo covered with lacquer. The slightly domed lid and the drum with yun decoration of king and court scenes and several inscriptions. The interiors with plain cinnabar red lacquer. Condition: traces of usage, some age cracks and wear, rim and lacquer losses, lid with a damaged area. Dimension: diameter: c. 23 cm, 21.3 cm high. Provenance: Swiss collection.

A Laotian figure of Buddha Shakyamuni, made of cast bronze with dark patina. Depicted seated in meditation on an undecorated pedestal, the right hand in bhumisparsa and the left in dhyana mudra. The curly hair is ending in the ushnisha with flame ornament, his face in the typical naive style. Condition: old small loss to the flame and one foot of the pedestal (therefore not perfectly even). Backside with some casting flaws. Dimension: c. 24.1 cm high x 12.5 cm wide x 8.5 cm deep, weight: 1800 g.

A wonderful woman's wedding hip wrapper made of cotton with wax resist dyed decoration and gilding. The kepala is showing a peacock on a tree, the badan with two long-tailed birds among flowers.
