A pair large Chinese silk kesi tapestries, once mounted as hanging scrolls with silk brocade border and backed with paper. Showing immortals and gods of the Daoist Pantheon in a landscape setting. Made of a two colour silk tapestry with painted areas. Dating to the late Qing dynasty. Condition: please look at the photos carefully - they make part of the condition report - the brtittle mounting is damaged and only partially preserved, the wooden bars of the top and one of the bottom are lost...

Large bowl of deep rounded form, raised on a narrow foot with flared rim. The exterior chiselled and engraved, the neck with a band of nasta'liq inscription. Below a frieze of floral motifs and trilobed arches. Condition: traces of usage, rubbing to tinning. Dimension: diameter: 29.6 cm, 13.6 cm high, weight: 1.4 kg.

A patinated bronze okimono of a young woman with a wonderful face, dating to the Meiji period. On her back and in her hand she is carrying iris flowers. Signed on the base. Dimension: 34 cm high, weight: 3.7 kg. Condition: few areas with wear to the patina.

Porcelain bowl, the exterior decorated with the "100 antiques" motif in the doucai palette. The interior with bats around an auspicious character in overglaze red and some gold. The base with a six character Guangxu mark in underglaze blue. Condition: fine, except a tiny rim chip (see last picture) and a minuscule bubble burst. Dimension: diameter: 16 cm, 6.8 cm high.

A quite large bamboo brush pot, all around deeply carved with warriors among a pagoda landscape. Condition: the separately carved volute foot with losses. One warrior with missing arm (see picture no.6), few cracks. Dimension: 18.5 cm high, diameter: c. 13.1 cm.

A rare pair Chinese chair strips with the typical four register design, showing bamboo, lingzhi fungus and scholar rocks. The ground fabric is a steel blue silk with black silk embroidery in satin stitch and little Peking knot. Trimmed with gold-wrapped thread border, cotton lining. Condition: good used condition - no restauration, particularly one cover with more traces of usage...

A large and heavy Chinese cloisonne bowl with gilt rims and wire, enameled at least with nine different colors. Decorated with flower medallions and clouds, the interior with bats around a "shou" character. The outer rim with a ruyi head border. Base with maybe later turquoise contre-email and a Chinese character. Please compare with a similar bowl in the Royal Museum of Edinburgh. Dimension: diameter: 20.7 cm, 9.1 cm high. A fine Persian cover of rectangular form. The center with crimson velvet, voided with flowers in lozenge shaped lattice, the woven silk edging with boteh pattern on blue. The reverse with printed cotton lining and eging in woven wool fabric. The velvet composed of several pieces and apparently prior of the other fabrics, possibly of Italian origin, 17th century (please compare to 1937.1265 in the "Art Institute Chigago"). An insert table screen with carved wood lattice work. The round porcelain plaque with depiction of three immortals in a landscape painted in underglaze blue. The reverse is bearing a six character "Daoguang" seal mark. Maybe the plaque was once a dish and reduced. Condition: lattice work with few missing pieces and little glue residue. Dimension: plaque: diameter: c. 16.5 cm, screen: total height: 45.5 cm, 34.5 cm wide.

A Chinese paired apron wraparound silk gored skirt, woven in tapestry (kesi, kossu, k'o-suu) technique with some silver wrapped threads and painted details, attached to an undyed cotton waistband and trimmed by a brocaded band. The panels are showing an imperial imagery of the celestial landscape with five-clawed dragons and phoenixes, against a green ground. The "long" dragons were probably covered by peacock feathers, rarely survived to the present days...

A hexagonal miniature table brass box, decorated with interlacing patterns, tendrils and Islamic calligraphy inscriptions, inlaid in silver and copper. With hinged lid and a small locking clasp, the interior with wood lining, mother-of-pearl and bone inlays. Condition: bottom of the lining lost. Dimension: 20.5 cm high.

A male front Mandarin square with a tiger, denoting the 3rd military rank. Silk tapestry (kossu, k'o-suu) with metallic threads and painted details. The animal is standing on a rock above deep water, the ground with Taoist longevity symbols. Blue silk lining. The background was probably covered by peacock feathers, rarely survived to the present days. Reference: "Ladder to the Clouds" by Jackson & Hugus Berkeley 1999, for similar badges...

Made of Chinese Late-Ming and Qing gold brocaded and tapestry silks showing dragons and floral decoration. The top panel is cardboard reinforced and having a seal on the backside. A full-length Lamaist costume made for the ritual Cham dance with flared sleeves weighted at the bottom. This dress is composed of antique Chinese silks, mainly of a dark blue brocade with design of scattered peonies. The stripes in yellow satin damask with woven dragon roundels and red silk damask with clouds and roundels containing brocaded Chinese longevity characters. The collar made of red silk satin with a brocaded shuangxi character and decorated with two different brocaded fragments...
