A framed oil on canvas painting, showing a young boy in a Balinese landscape. The painting is signed Ch. A. Egli and titled on the back "Balinesischer Knabe". Charles A. Egli was a Swiss artist taught by Ferdinand Hodler. After traveling from 1918 until 1925 through China and Japan, he visited Java and Bali.
