Standing Sho-Kannon Bosatsu, the right hand forming the semui-in mudra of fearlessness and the left holding a short-stemmed lotus bud, sculpted in relief from a brown-hued sandstone. Mid-Edo Period ca. 1700. Old loss and softening of the lines and contours, with desirable patination overall.
