This is a fine Georgian period English tea cup and saucer dish, one of a pair, unmarked, but probably Hilditch ca. 1825. The pedestal cup, with London bone china style handle, is decorated with a simple scrolling border and stylized leaves in shades of aqua and puce; the matching saucer is deeply dished, which is typical of the period.
