This is a Vienna claret ground tête-a-tête, 19th century, comprising : a coffee pot, hot-milk jug, sugar bowl and cover, and waste bowl; the first three signed "H. Kollerd"; each bearing the blue beehive mark; painted with mythological scenes within a seeded rectangular gilt surround on an elaborately paneled ground in shades of pale pink, pale blue, lemon yellow, and cobalt; gilt and chased with scrolling foliage; titled on the reverse "Jupiter und Calisto" (the coffee pot), "Amor entwaffnet" (the hot milk jug); and "Pan vor Gericht" (the sugar bowl); condition: coffee pot: gilt, slight wear; hot milk jug: gilt, slight wear, restored handle; sugar bowl: gilt, slight wear; waste bowl: gilt, slight wear; height: 6", the largest.
