Add your prescription and monogram to this elegant antique Victorian Period tortoise shell lorgnette, comprising nicely grained and richly colored back and front tortoise panels, each side with a center silver oval design, no monogram, holding silver-tone metal framed, prescription glass spectacles, suspended on a hard-to-lose silver chain. Circa 1880. Measurements: 4 1/2" L x 1 1/8" W; Very good condition with minor surface scratches, chip on edge of one glass lens, easily replaced. An unusual period piece!
