You don't have to be a wine connoisseur to find this *grapes* bracelet delicious. It's beautifully designed and crafted with 7 clusters of sterling grapes in high relief. Arts & Crafts influence is evident, along with the clear geometry of Art Deco. Notice the stylized tops and exquisitely detailed leaves.
Created in Mexico and stamped as such, this highly collectible piece is in fabulous condition - particularly given the delicacy of sterling. Clearly it's been worn and stored with the care it deserves. Provenance is an East Coast estate and probable dating would be 1930's (though it could be a little earlier or later). We've given it a light polish, since the patina of age was extreme; you may want to go farther, if you prefer a mirror-bright finish.
Length of the bracelet is a bit longer than 7", so it will be best for an average to larger wrist. Alternatively you could have one cluster removed and turned into a matching ring (not a bad idea).
This bracelet is a lovely (though not exact) match to our large grapes brooch that can also be worn as a pendant, and would also be fabulous with our grape-themed lavaliere necklace of green agate and silver. Run a search here for "grape" or "grapes" and have a look -- then, if interested in more than one piece, please e-mail so we can arrange a very special combined price.
There's no charge for insured U.S. shipping and gift wrap is also free if desired. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm availability, order or request more photos. Thanks for looking!
