A Masons’ Ironstone charger in the Japan pattern, a variation of the classic Imari decoration (underglaze blue and overglaze red) with an addition of green. Impressed mark: Mason’s Patent Ironstone Chin, early 19th century. Diameter "12/ 30 cm. Condition: glaze bubbles, otherwise fine.

Antique silver gilt spoon, enameled decoration of Denmark’s coat of arms. Made by Marius Hammer of Bergen, Norway, c 1900. The famous Hammer workshop (1847-1927) produced exquisite enameled cutlery and jewelry for export to other countries. Maker’s mark MH and 830 S. Length "4 / 10 cm. Condition: fine.

Brown banko ware teapot, Japan, late Meiji / early Showa. Unglazed, with the exception of the rim and the top of the handle hooks, some gilt to the molded decoration of a dragon and a lion dog. All handmade, with thumb marks to base and rim of lid. Height including lid "4 ½ / 11.5 cm. Condition: no bamboo handle, otherwise fine.

Small Chinese Export cup and saucer, first part of the 18th century, Yongzheng or early Qianlong. “Batavia” brown glaze with reserves of flowers in Imari colours and gilt. Diameter of saucer "4/ 10.5 cm, height of cup "1 ½/ 3.5 cm. Condition: wear to the gilt, one hairline each to cup and saucer (cf. pics).

A Chinese Export coffee cup, Qianlong, mid-18th century. Decoration in puce and gilt of flower garlands in European style. Height "2 ¼ / 6.5 cm. Condition: a hairline.

A bulbous vase finely painted in Famille rose enamels, the decoration depicting the eight horses of Mu Wang, the Queen Mother of the West. Four-character Qianlong mark in over-glaze blue to the base. Height "9/ 23 cm. Condition: severe damage and repair to the neck (cf. pics).

A small cloisonné enamel dish, unusual colors: rusty brown and turquoise green peony, the back with bamboo leafs and grapes in dark blue and black. Japanese, late 19th century. Diameter "3 ½/ 9.2 cm. Condition: enamel loss, esp. to the back (cf. pics).

A Chinese Export double handled cup, a chocolate cup. Under-glaze blue decoration of a seascape with pagodas, diaper and scroll borders. Qianlong period, c 1760. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: wear to the little dragon “ears” of the handles, otherwise fine.

A large copper lustre jug / pitcher, both sides transfer printed with Charity as a mother with children, having pity on yet another child. Sunderland, England c 1830, unmarked. Height "5 ½ / 13.5 cm. Condition: a firing crack visible at the base and a glaze bubble to the Charity image to one side (cf. pics). A smaller Sunderland jug with Hope is presented in another GC offer (cf. last pic).

Figure of Li Teguai / Li T’ieh-Kuai, one of the eight Chinese immortals. Biscuit, enamelled in the Famille rose palette except for the naked parts which are painted in a matted skin shade. Unmarked, probably c 1900. Height "5 /12.5 cm. Condition: a glaze flake to the red part of the cloud, otherwise fine.

Blue and white bell-shaped inkwell of molded lotus leaf design. Japanese, Hirado Mikawachi, late 19th century. Height with lid "4 ¾ / 12 cm. Condition: chips to upper and lower rim, glass liner (not original) as seen in pics.

A cup and saucer and an additional cup, all three with overglaze iron red landscapes and houses in European style. China, c 1800 or earlier. Diameter of saucer "5 ½ / 14 cm, height of cups "2 / 5 – 5.2 cm. Condition: cups with rim chips, the back of the saucer with a hairline.

A pair of small enameled dram glasses / whiskey tumblers. Each with decoration of a flower basket to the exterior, the inside painted green and white. Polished bases. Bohemian, early 19th century. Height "2 ½ / 6.5 cm. Condition: two flakes to the inside of rim to one glass.

Three small enameled dram glasses / whiskey tumblers. Decoration of a flower band to the exterior, the white background inside painted. Polished bases. Bohemian, early 19th century. Height "2 ¾ / 7 cm. Condition: a flake to the base of one glass (cf. first photo).

Cup and saucer with decoration of pine trees and flowers in Imari colours and gilt. Japan, Arita c 1920, with mark for Aoki Brothers / Aoki Kyodai-Shokai. Diameter of saucer "5 ¾ / 14.3 cm, height of cup "1 ¾ / 4.5 cm. Condition: rim of cup with small glaze bubble.

A blue and white dish or bowl, depicting a garden wall and rocks with peony, bamboo and prunus. China, mid Qianlong period. Made for the European market, the well surrounded by a Rococo scroll border. Diameter "8 ½ / 21.2 and height"1 ½ / 4 cm. Condition: rim frits and wear to the well (cf. pics).

French milk jug in the Cornflower / Barbeaux pattern together with a coffee can and saucer in the same pattern, c 1790. The cornflower / aux barbeaux decoration was much preferred by Marie Antoinette of France and these pieces were produced around 1780-90. The jug with a painter’s signature (?) A in black. Height of jug "6 / 15 cm, of can ”1 ¾ / 4,5 cm, diameter of saucer ”3 ½ / 8,5 cm. Condition: a small flake under the lip of the jug, two nicks to the rim of the saucer (cf. pictures).

A lidded brass box, made around 1900, Chinese. Small brass medallions with auspicious flowers and birds have been soldered on to the box, and to the front are two enamel and copper medallions with cranes. One medallion is of the shou symbol surrounded by bats. The wooden lining suggests that the box was used for cigars. The back with stamped mark CHINA. Nice format, width "5 ¼ / 13.3 cm, height "2 / 5 cm. Condition: fine.
