An unusually small creamer, Chinese export porcelain from the Qianlong period, c 1770. Decoration in the European taste of scattered flowers, a thin lattice border and garlands. Height "3 1/3/ 8.5 cm. Condition: a professional restoration is visible near the beak where the decoration is restored with exactly the same enamels as the original (cf. pics).

Sparrow beak milk jug, Chinese export porcelain from late Kangxi or Yongzheng, early 18th century. Imari decoration: underglaze blue and overglaze red plus some gilt. The blue is clobbered - the way it is sometimes seen on the blue and white ginger jars with the classic cracked ice decoration - and the way the circular chrysanthemum flowers have been cut in halves shows Japanese influence. Height "4 ¾ / 12.2 cm. Condition: a hairline to the base of the handle.

Coffee cup, Chinese export porcelain from the Qianong period, c 1770. European style decoration of a ribbon in overglaze blue and gilt, and scattered flowers in Famille rose enamels. Gilt borders and leaf handle. Height "2 ¼ / 6 cm. Condition: rim frits to the foot rim (cf. pics).

Grisaille / encre de Chine and iron red decorated semi-eggshell saucer, depicting a Mandarin family scene of a father wishing his wife and son a nice walk in the garden, she holding a fishing rod and the little boy with a bird in his hand, all surrounded by a border of flowers and conchs in European Rococo style. China, early Qianlong, c 1740. Diameter "4 ¾ / 12.2 cm. Condition: re-glued, some wear to the decoration and rim frits (cf. pics).

Unusual small Faux bois tea or wine cup, Yongzheng period, reddish brown with peony and antiquities in Famille rose enamels and gilt, a collection number in red to the base. In the Yongzheng and early Qianlong period the chief manager in Jing De Zhen - the center of Chinese porcelain production - was the creative Tang Ying who made the imitation of various materials like wood, bamboo and stone on porcelain en vogue. Two pairs of nephrite /spinach jade footed cups or goblets, one pair smaller than the other. Chinese, early 20th century. The cups of bell-shape, the stems conical, the only decoration being a line between stem and cup, creating the impression of a seam or joint. Height: "3 ¼ and “4 / 8 and 10 cm respectively. Condition: fine, with the exception of a minimal nick to the foot rim of one of the smaller goblets that can be felt but not seen, could be polished away.

Coral red tea bowl and saucer, the bowl with rocky landscapes in blue, green and black in reserves, the saucer with the same decoration depicted on a paper scroll. The black lines are hand painted like the rest, so probably Chinese, Jiaqing period. The lotus scroll work on the tea bowl with traces of silver, now oxidized. The tea bowl with a kiln mark, and a simplified six character mark to the saucer, probably for Jiaqing. Diameter of cup "3 ½ / 9 cm and of saucer "5 ¾ / 14.5 cm...

A pair of blue and white scallop shell shaped dishes for butter, sweetmeat or the likes with under-glaze blue decoration of peony within a Yongzheng style lingzhi border. Chinese export porcelain, Qianlong around 1750 and probably made for the English market. Width "5 ¼ / 13 cm. Condition: fine, except for a very small glaze flake to the border of each dish. A double-handled and lidded soup bowl or ecuelle, decorated all over in Famille rose colors with reserves of fleur de lys and peony on a cod roe background within diaper borders in turquoise. A type of decoration more tending towards Yongzheng than Qianlong, quite unusual and intended towards a specific market – Persia? Height with cover "5 ½/ 14 cm, diameter of cover "6 ¼ / 16 cm...

A small Chinese teapot, pumpkin shaped and ribbed. Decoration of garden rocks and flowers in underglaze blue, overglaze red and gilt. Late Kangxi / early 18th century. Width / 14.5 cm, height including lid "4/ 10 cm, width "5 ¾ / 14.5 cm. Condition: some glaze flakes to the lid and firing cracks to the knob (cf. pics).

A very small stem cup with a goldfish in the center surrounded by Shou and bats and auspicious fruit: peach, pomegranate and finger citron. Guangxu period, c 1900, the interior of the foot with four characters in iron-red. Height "2 / 5 cm. Condition: a a few minor glaze chips to the rims (cf. pics)

Tea bowl with charming decoration in Famille rose enamels and iron-red depicting a family scene, perhaps a birthday celebration: a boy and a young man are leading a cow up to the Pater Familias where he is resting comfortably under a blossoming tree, while two smiling ladies are bringing him presents, one of them carrying what looks like a teapot and the other a fish. Diameter "3/ 7.8 cm, height "1 2/3 / 4.2 cm. Condition: fine.

Cup and saucer, both with a flower border in underglaze blue and a peony in the center. The exterior with a light Café-au-lait variation of the brown “Batavia” glaze (Batavia being the Dutch name for the VOC shipping harbour, today's Jakarta). Yongzheng, early 18th century, the base with a shop mark. Diameter of saucer "4 ½ / 11.5 cm, height of cup "1 2/3/ 4.3 cm. Condition: the cup with three chips to the rim and foot rim, two of them with old repairs (cf. pics).

A blue and white gravy jug or creamer, Chinese export porcelain, c 1830. The hand painted decoration of pagodas in a seascape is cut off on both sides of the handle, mimicking the competitive English porcelain factories, where this was an obvious downside of the new and rational method of printing. Width "5 ¼ / 13, height with handle "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: a glaze bubble under the spout (cf. last pic).

Blue and white tea or wine cup with panels of “Lange Lijsen” (Dutch for these slim ladies) and a landscape, the inside with a diaper border. China, Kangxi, c 1700. Height "2 ¼ / 6 cm, height "1 2/3 / 4.2 cm. Condition: little rim frits and chips (cf. pics).

Carved amber glass snuff bottle, a stylized animal head to each side. China, late 19th century. Height "2/ 5.2 cm. Condition: minimal nicks to rim (cf. pics).

Thinly potted, pretty plate with decoration mainly in yellow, iron-red and green of flowers, birds and butterflies, c.1850. Diam: "5 ½ /14 cm. Condition: some wear to the decoration.

Small tea or wine bowl, enameled in Famille rose colours with an auspicious cricket among flowers, the background a light greyish green. China, Tongzhi period, the base with some residue, possibly from an exportation seal. Height "1 ½ / 4 and diameter "2 ½/ 6 cm. Condition: fine.
