Blue and white tea bowl with scalloped rim and pagoda decoration, Qianlong c 1760-80. Interestingly, the Chinese decorator has made an abrupt cut in the mountainous landscape scene (cf. picture 3) so as to give an impression of a printed pattern, the way it is sometimes seen on early English - competitive - transferware where this of course always was a mistake due to this new technology. Unusual.
Height 2" / 5 cm. Condition: minimal chip to outer rim.
