Antique Tibetan or Nepalese Buddhistic Thangka / Tangka, gouache on canvas, second half of the 19th century. In original condition, fastened to a wooden stick and o be rolled up with a cinnamon-brown silk cover to protect the painting which is framed by silk brocade of the same colour. The back with the name of the artist, a Buddhistic monk, finely inscribed in red. The picture itself represents one hundred boddhisatvas in various sizes and positions among clouds...

A pair of blue and white Hirado oil jars or bottles of squat shape, Meiji period, c 1900. Molded decoration of Paulownia leaves in reserves and an under-glaze blue diaper (grid) pattern. One with a cork stopper crowned by a small silver bird. Height: "2 ¼ /6 cm, diameter: "3 ¾ / 9 cm. Condition: small glaze crack near the mouth to one jar, otherwise fine.

Burl wood and silver bowl, used for Tsampa, the traditional Tibetan porridge, and for buttered tea. The silver lining plain, the exterior with chased and delicately engraved decoration of flowers. Tibetan silver normally lacks hallmarks and this bowl tested for a silver content of 925 /1000. Probably antique, late 19th or early 20th century. Diameter "4 ½ / 11 cm, height "2 ¼ / 5.7 cm. Condition: fine.

A double-handled and lidded soup bowl or ecuelle, decorated all over in Famille rose colors with reserves of fleur de lys and peony on a cod roe background within diaper borders in turquoise. A type of decoration more tending towards Yongzheng than Qianlong, quite unusual and intended towards a specific market – Persia? Height with cover "5 ½/ 14 cm, diameter of cover "6 ¼ / 16 cm...

A pair of blue and white scallop shell shaped dishes for butter, sweetmeat or the likes with under-glaze blue decoration of peony within a Yongzheng style lingzhi border. Chinese export porcelain, Qianlong around 1750 and probably made for the English market. Width "5 ¼ / 13 cm. Condition: fine, except for a very small glaze flake to the border of each dish. An exceptionally small Japanese tea or wine bowl and saucer, Edo period c 1710. Blood and milk iron red and gilt decoration of butterflies, flowers and swirls. Height of cup 1 ¼ " / 3.2 cm Diameter 2 ¼ "/ 5.5 cm, of saucer 3 ½ "/ 8.8 cm. Condition: repair to the saucer, the cup with a nick to the inner side of the foot rim (c.f. pics).

Five little Chinese cups and saucers dating to c 1850. Canton Famille Rose / Rose Medallion decoration of Mandarin scenes, flowers and butterflies. Height of cups "2/5,5 cm, diameter of saucers "4¾/ 12 cm. Condition: fine.

A small Chinese teapot, pumpkin shaped and ribbed. Decoration of garden rocks and flowers in underglaze blue, overglaze red and gilt. Late Kangxi / early 18th century. Width / 14.5 cm, height including lid "4/ 10 cm, width "5 ¾ / 14.5 cm. Condition: some glaze flakes to the lid and firing cracks to the knob (cf. pics).

A carved ivory container, cylindrical and lidded, with dragons chasing the flaming pearl. Chinese, late Qing, c 1900. Height including lid "3¾/ 9,8 cm. Condition: the lid lacks its knop and the foot rim border a tip.

A Chinese Export blue and white octagonal platter, c 1760. Blue and white decoration, the well with a laid garden table and a willow tree within a lace frame, the border with butterflies and flowers. Cut edges with “reinforcement” glaze. Width “14 ¼ /36 cm, height “1 ½ /4 cm. Condition: restored flake to border and small rim chip, otherwise fine.

A Chinese Export double handled cup, a chocolate cup. Under-glaze blue decoration of a seascape with pagodas, diaper and scroll borders. Qianlong period, c 1760. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: wear to the little dragon “ears” of the handles, otherwise fine.

A bulbous vase finely painted in Famille rose enamels, the decoration depicting the eight horses of Mu Wang, the Queen Mother of the West. Four-character Qianlong mark in over-glaze blue to the base. Height "9/ 23 cm. Condition: severe damage and repair to the neck (cf. pics).

Interesting Arita Imari bowl, late Edo with scalloped rim and panels with reserves of flowers and figural scenes of an elderly teacher (?) surrounded by pupils, the reserves contoured in raised overglaze black. Brocade or diaper patterns in green, red, blue and gilt surrounding a stylized turtle in underglaze blue. The exterior shows three Buddhist symbols repeated three times in underglaze blue, red enamels and gilt. Bull’s eye base and a green-glazed Uzu-Fuku mark...

A pair of silvered bronze tripods, Jue, an archaic type of vessel used for heating and serving wine, the shape originating from the early dynastic periods B C. These little elegant pair of Jue is from the early 19th century, made of silvered and engraved bronze or brass. Height "3½/ 9 cm. Condition: original handles shortened and some wear to the silver coating (cf pics.).

Two porcelain plates, both superbly painted in the Satsuma style with brocaded borders and landscape scenes of women and children in luxurious clothing, celebrating iris and chrysanthemum respectively. Kutani, late Meiji, c 1900. Signed Kutani Eiraku (?) So. Diameter "7¼ / 18,3 cm. Condition: fine.

Syllabub or custard cup (or pot de crème) in the shape of a bud or a fruit within relief moulded, stylized scale leaves. The lid modelled as a small Mandarin cap. Decorated with European style flowers and gilt borders. Late Qianlong. Cf Swedish publications Gyllenswärd (1977) p. 133 and Wirgin (1998) p. 19, where the same border is depicted and dated to 1784, ordered for the Swedish King. The border closest to the knob of the lid has a neoclassical, "fasces" motif...

A Chinese export Imari dish, Kangxi period, early 18th century. Fluted sides and decoration of peony and chrysanthemum in iron red and gilt over under-glaze blue. Diameter "10/ 25,5 cm. Condition: rim frits, a hairline and a 3 cm restoration to the rim (cf. pictures).

Small wine cup and saucer of octagonal shape, decorated in under-glaze blue with lotus scrolls and flowers in panels. Kangxi to Yongzheng period, early 18th century. Diameter of saucer "4/ 10,5 cm, of cup "2 ¼ / 6 cm, height of cup: "1 ½ / 3,6 cm. Condition: a chip to the foot rim of the cup and a smaller one to the outer rim of the saucer (cf. photos).
