A pair of plates by Samson of Paris. Decoration in Famille rose colours of sprigs of flowers within a gilt Rococo border, imitating mid-18th Chinese export porcelain of the Qianlong period. Unmarked. Diameter "9½/ 23,8 cm. Condition: fine.

Large and beautiful ironstone beer tankard or mug, with molded or sprigged decoration of hops – looking rather like blackberries - in blue and white on a drab coloured background. England, c 1820-30, in the Wedgwood jasperware style. Height "4¾/ 12 cm, diameter "5¼/ 13,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A Dutch Delft 18th c tile. Painted decoration in puce of a church in a landscape, within double circles. Width "5 ¼/ 13 cm. Condition: fine.

A pair of English Leeds or Staffordshire creamware plates, early 19th century. In the centre a Tudor rose in relief/raised, the well and the pierced outer rim of the same rose shape. Condition: a few glaze bubbles to the rim of both plates. Diameter "8/ 20 cm.

A Staffordshire redware teapot, c 1770, with sprigged Chinoiserie decoration of a pavillion and arcades. Impressed apocryphal seal mark of Thomas Barker, Fenton. No lid. Height "4½/ 11,2 cm, width "7¾/ 19 cm. Condition: fine.

A Staffordshire blue and white waste bowl or slop bowl, transfer printed, early 19th century. The outside with a textile pattern and reserves with a bird. The inside with a stylized border of leaves and flowers and a similar bird in the centre. Diameter "4½/ 11,5 cm, height "2¾/ 7 cm. Condition: fine.

Four English (Staffordshire) child’s plates for the German market, c 1830. Transfer printed in puce and green with illustrated didactic proverbs / bon mots...

A blue and white transfer printed plate with the Boy on a Buffalo pattern - one of the first Chinese patterns to be "translated" by the English potteries and first used by Spode c 1795, soon also by other potters. The specific border used for this pattern adapts itself well to the lobed shape of the rim. Around 1800, unmarked, possibly Spode. Diameter "8¾/ 22 cm. Condition: fine.

Earthenware relief-moulded dish by Söholm on the isle of Bornholm, Denmark. Late 19th century, typical of this factory’s early production. Moulded decoration of laurel leaves and an old couple in classical style, the design inspired by Danish sculptor Thorvaldsen. Diameter "10/ 26 cm. Condition: slight wear to parts of the figures in the centre.

Four serving dishes from the Poppelsdorf factory. Of segmented shape with gilt borders and hand painted decoration of fruit in lovely colours. The factory was working from 1888 to 1929, and the green printed mark of these dishes was in use 1875 to 1900. Width "7½/ 19,5 cm. Condition: some wear to one dish.

Green flambé glazed miniature stoneware vase or perfume bottle, Art Nouveau design with engraved silver overlay, c 1900. Unmarked, probably German. Height "3½/ 9 cm. Condition: the end of one sprig replaced with silver colour, as shown on photo.

A pair of blue and white, transfer printed tea bowls, c 1820. The exterior with putti and lions playing, the interior with a stylized leaf and flower border. Height "2¼/ 5,5 cm, diameter "3¼/ 8,5 cm. Condition: minimal nicks to foot rims, one bowl with a nick to upper rim.

Six little fruit plates and a dish. German Majolica, c 1900, unmarked, with palmettos in light blue surrounding a relief-moulded twig of leaves and apples. The colours are lighter on the dish and three of the plates than on the rest. Diam: "6¼/ 16 cm and "9 1/2/ 24 cm. Condition: wear to the outer rim on two of the plates.

A blue and white English tea bowl, c 1750, probably by Bow. Painted in blurred blue with a version of the Rock Warbler pattern, and with slightly flaring upper rim. Diameter "3/ 7,5 cm, height "1½/ 4 cm. Condition: two small rim chips, as seen in photo.

Two lovely English trios with painted decoration of single roses. Wishbone or London handles, c 1820, probably New Hall. Numbers painted to base: 925 and 923. Height of cups "3/ 7,5 cm, diameter of saucers "5 ½/ 14 cm. Condition: a yellow tone to part of the handle of one cup (from fabrication), otherwise fine.

A Grainger/Worcester small bulbous vase, hand painted with cowslip flowers and sprigs on a light green ground. Imprinted marks for Grainger / Worcester, pattern number G 161 and year mark D for 1893. Height "2 ¾/ 7 cm, width "3¼/ 8 cm. Condition: fine.

Three copper lustre saucer dishes. Brown transfer printed and hand painted decoration of Chinamen and boys in a garden. English, Staffordshire c 1840. Diameter "5 ½/13,5 cm Condition: fine.

A Royal Doulton Chiné stoneware jug or pitcher with pewter lid, c 1890, partly gilt and enamelled in turquoise, blue and white. The Chiné pattern, where a textile – lace - was pressed into the clay to create the desired effect, was invented by Slater, director of Doulton from 1887 to 1936. Marks: Royal Doulton, Slater’s Patent and RH for designer Rosina Harris. Height 8"/20 cm. Condition: restoration to tip of spout.
