Beautiful handkerchief or fazzoletto bowl with white filigree and twisted green rods, the green surrounded by glittering aventurine strands. Murano, c 1960, unmarked but probably by the Fratelli Toso glassworks. Height "5 / 12.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Red and yellow small “Geode” bowl in Sommerso technique, and in the beloved irregularly triangular shape of the 1950s. Height "2/ 5 cm, width appr. "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: normal wear around the cut and polished base.

A “Seaweed” bowl by Vicke Lindstrand (1904 – 1983). The Seaweed series with its streaks of mainly green and black uses the variation of Graal glass called Mykene, developed by V.L. while he was still working for Orrefors in the 1930s. Marked Kosta LH 1107. Width "5 ¼ / 13 cm, height "2 ½ / 6.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Two stoneware tiles from the “Fritte” range, designed by Aldo Londi and produced by Bitossi in the 1950s for Illums Bolighus, famous design department store in Copenhagen. Impressed fish motif with fused glass – Italian “fritte” – one in Rimini Blu, the other a light olive green. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of Bitossi. Both tiles marked Illums Bolighus and 715 B (one) and 724A (the other)...

Aldo Londi for Bitossi: a circular stoneware bowl, covered all over with Lava glaze, full of “volcanic” effects in intense shades of yellowish-green and orange. This pattern is also seen in vases, boxes etc. from Bitossi. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of this renown Italian ceramic company. Marked 3030/564 (?) and Italy. Diameter "8 ½ / 21.5 cm, height "1 ¾ / 4.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Aldo Londi for Bitossi: a massive stoneware vase, thinly applied glaze to the exterior a rhombic pattern of in orange and yellow with “volcanic” effects, and a glossy glaze to the interior. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of Bitossi, the renowned Italian ceramic company. Marked 3030/537 and Italy. Height "7/ 18 cm. Condition: a few glaze flakes to the mouth rim (cf. pics).

Two stoneware vases by Bruno Gambone, one rounded, a jar, and one rectangular, a bottle vase. Both glazed in light grey with “volcanic” pinholes, the jar partly brown-glazed. Both signed Gambone, Italy. Height "4/ 10 cm (jar) and "5/ 12.8 cm (bottle vase). Condition of both vases: fine.

A stoneware pitcher made up by a tall and narrow cylinder and a semispherical shape, united by a circular handle. Greige and matte glaze with pin holes and other “volcanic” effects, the inside white and glossy. Illegible signature under the glaze, possibly for Bruno Gambone Italy. Height "7/ 18 cm. Condition: fine.

Handsewn, very neat little crocodile cuff links, English, c 1930 -1950 or earlier. Measures "½ x ½ / 12x 12 mm. Condition: fine.

Faience pitcher by Aegitna in Vallauris, France. Aegitna or Saltamacchia was one of the first ceramic workshops established in the village of Vallauris near Cannes and the Mediterranean. Vallauris was to become the most famous center in postwar Europe for the renewal of ceramic art, and many modernist ceramists like Picasso settled there to work...

Early 1950's silver plate and enamel bowl, designed by Henning Koppel. This model was produced in more than one color and size and by more than one Danish silverware producer, the foremost being Georg Jensen. This bowl is marked (illegible)…dröste and Denmark. Diameter "4 ½ / 11.2 cm and height "2 ¼ / 6 cm. Condition: some wear to the silvered surface as expected (cf. pics).

Mosaic pottery tazza and vase from the 1940s or 50s, by Gerbino, France. The handling and modelling of clays in various colors necessary for the creation of this kind of art objects was a complicated procedure, mastered only by Jean Gerbino and his family in Vallauris, the French studio pottery center of the period. Impressed marks Gerbino and Vallauris. Height of tazza "3 ½ / 9 cm and of the vase "5 ½ / 14 cm, diameter of tazza "6/ 15 cm. Condition: fine.

Circular cobalt blue bowl, a relief design of silver flecks forming a shimmering nebula inside the massive rim. Murano c 1960 and probably by Seguso. Diameter "4 ½ / 11.5 cm, height "1 2/3 / 4 cm. Condition: fine.

Small and beautiful cased opaline and clear glass bulb vase, with speckles in reddish brown to puce over the light blue opaline. By Arthur Percy for Gullaskruf glassworks. A few pieces in this series entered the collections of the National Swedish Glass Museum in 1960, hence the dating of this item. Height "1 ¾ / 4.7 cm. Condition: fine.

Vase of square shape, enamel on copper by Paolo de Poli, Italy, 1950’s. The exterior in partly transparent ultramarine blue, the interior black. The base with impressed P. de Poli Made in Italy. Height and width "2 ¾ / 7 cm. Condition: fine.

Two lovely pottery vases by Czech Dux, c 1930 or late 1920’s, the larger vase drop shaped, the smaller one bulbous. Slip glaze decoration of grapes in blue, green and brown over white. Height “11 ½ / 29 cm and “4 / 10.5 cm respectively. Green acorn within triangle mark and DUX to the larger vase, impressed model numbers to both. Condition: minor crackling to glaze of the smaller vase, the larger with a nick to the foot rim.

Beautiful lobed Kutani yaki dish in Yoshidaya style, modern. Decoration of camellia in white, aubergine, green, speckled yellow and gilt. The back with a character in gilt, possibly Qiu, meaning Autumn. It is also defined by Graesse in his classical work about pottery and porcelain marks as from the village of Shinomine in Arita. Diameter "6 ¼ / 16 cm, height "1 ¼ / 3 cm. Condition: fine.

Two unique art glass bowls by Asa (Åsa) Brandt, Sweden. ÅB is said to have been the first glass artist in Europe to set up her own independent studio, in 1968. Controlled marbled or spatter glass design in white and blue, red and green. Both signed Åsa. Diameter "7 and 5 ¼ / 18 and 13 cm, height "2 ¾ and 2 ½ / 7 and 6.5 cm respectively. Condition: fine.
