Wedgwood buff dipped jasperware lamp base and socket, with applied relief decoration in black. The Wedgwood pillar designs usually appear as candlesticks of various sizes. This version, however, is an originally produced lamp base and has not been converted. It is in good working order, at present with an energy saving bulb. Impressed marks B for 1925 and WEDGWOOD. Maling, known for their lustre glaze patterns ceased their production in 1963. All four pieces with the castle mark used from the 1920’s to 1963. A Wedgwood black basalt coffee service. Coffee pot, sugar bowl, creamer, twelve small coffee cans and eleven saucers. The widow knob and shape of the pot copies a late 18th century design, just like the handles and the cylindrical shape of the cans. All parts marked "Wedgwood" and "Made in England" (= after 1910).
