A “Salopian” pearlware coffee service: nine cups and saucers, coffee pot, cream jug and slop bowl. Transfer printed decoration and underglaze painting in yellow, light red, blue and green of flower borders and a romantic view of a farm house with cows, meadows and wanderers. The cups of generous bute shape with "London” handles, and inside each cup a very small cottage is to be admired. There is a blueish tone to the white glaze. Ten creamware dinner plates, transfer printed in puce with a cottage, a farmboy and cattle within a lace border, the outer rim with hand painted vine leaves, also in puce (one vine wreath partly in orange). From Herculaneum in Liverpool c 1810, all with the impressed mark of the pottery as a straight line, in the style of Wedgwood, the name of the pottery also competing with Wedgwood’s Etruria. Diameter "10 / 25.5 cm. Condition: all fine except for a hairline to one of the plates.

A complete set, a parure, of pendant, earrings and brooch made of silver with marcasites and gold trimmings. All parts with little scenes in gold of grazing deer, the gold having been cut out and soldered onto the silver underneath. Made around 1910-20, probably in South Germany or Austria. All marcasites except those of the pendant are set with prongs. The gold content is over 10 carats and the silver which is unmarked except for the earrings (marked Sterling 925) exceeds 900/1000. A pair of oval dishes with godrooned borders, soft paste / pâte tendre, creamy white with decoration of flowers in underglaze blue. Made c 1780 in Tournai, then France and now Belgium. Ronda was the most popular Tournai pattern, produced all through the 19th century till 1891 when the manufactory closed down. Width "10 ½ / 26.5 cm. Condition: firing crack and two little nicks to underside of rim of one dish (cf. pics).

Ring by Minas Spiridis for Georg Jensen, sterling silver and 18K gold. Marked inside with an L, for the pinkie finger of your left hand. Minas Spiridis - whose signature is included in the decoration - has been designing jewelry for Georg Jensen since the early 90’s. A rare solid jasperware child's teapot, the reliefs designed by Lady Templetown. Around 1790, unmarked, by Wedgwood, Adams or Turner. To one side a scene of a young mother reading a book, slippers on her feet, her little daughter playing with a doll. Oval silver box and lid of tea caddy shape, the knop of the lid a natural oval stone, probably veined gneiss. Engraved Georgian style borders and crest, the crest with a dedication, “From Steanis”, a gift in Georgian style and probably made around 1900. Antique Tibetan or Nepalese Buddhistic Thangka / Tangka, gouache on canvas, second half of the 19th century. A pair of blue and white Hirado oil jars or bottles of squat shape, Meiji period, c 1900. Molded decoration of Paulownia leaves in reserves and an under-glaze blue diaper (grid) pattern. An interesting antique staghorn walking stick with an excellently carved male head – a portrait? The partly dark and dotty structure of the horn is skilfully used to underline the grotesque character of the face. The stick was found in Sweden and the silver mounting between handle and stick bears hallmarks from Dalecarlia in Sweden and year mark for 1891. However, the handle was certainly not made in Sweden. Elegantly line engraved vase by Tapio Wirkkala, from the Kantarelli series he made for Iittala glassworks in 1951. Kantarelli is the Finnish word for the delicious yellow mushroom, the chanterelle. Signed Tapio Wirkkala Iittala. Height "6 ¾ / 17 cm. Condition: fine.

Six small dessert or fruit bowls in the Splendid collection by Bohemian Moser, Karlsbad, Exquisitely diamond-cut and faceted, the border with a relief pattern in 24 carat gold. Designed in 1911, Splendid turned out to be a success in the international expositions of the time. It is still being produced and is part of royal and stately dining settings all over the world. Diameter "5 ¼ / 13 cm, height "1/ 2.7 cm. This set is probably from around 1950. Condition: three bowls with wear to the gilt.
