Chinese seal paste box showing New Year’s celebrations in the time of emperor Tongzhi, c 1870. The lid with an elderly official or teacher, his traditional hat in hand, surrounded by his pupils, the sides of lid and box showing two rows of small boys carrying signboards, red lanterns and the dragon on long sticks. The decorations of box and lid are made to fit perfectly together. Diameter "3 ¾ / 9.5 and height "2 ¼/ 6 cm. Condition: the base with a hairline (cf. pics).

A bowl and a dish, slop bowl and stand, part of a tea service. Soft porcelain, made in Staffordshire around 1840. Pink luster geometric border pattern with flowers in reserves and enamelling in green, with some red and gilt. Diameter of bowl "6/ 15.3 cm, height "3/ 7.5 cm, diameter of dish "7 ½ / 19.5 cm. Condition: a hairline to the bowl and an old restoration to the border of the dish (cf. pics).

Pearlware dinner plate in the Curbing palms pattern, by Job Ridgway, transfer printed in blue, unmarked. Job Ridgway’s manufacture worked for only a short period, 1802 – 1813. A variation of the Willow border and an additional Nankin border surround an Oriental landscape with curbing palm trees and exotic pagodas. Diameter "9 ¾ / 24.7 cm. Condition: fine.

Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.
