Chinese bowl with fluted sides and a scene of old men and boys playing chess in a garden, one old man supported by two boys approaching the game table, another table in the background laid with wine cups, a young boy busy filling them from a large wine jar. All in Fencai or Famille rose colours and some gilt, Tongzhi (1862-74) mark to the base. Diameter "6/ 15,5 cm. Condition: fine.
