A pair of small English (Staffordshire) transfer printed cups and saucers, mid 19th century. Chinoiserie decoration of a garden scene printed in red and hand painted accents in green, blue and yellow. Pink luster rims. Impressed flower mark to the back of one saucer. Height of cup "2¼/ 5,5 cm and diameter of saucer "4/ 10,5 cm. Condition: some crazing. What looks like a nick to the rim of one cup is actually under the glaze.
