Brass teapot, made c 1900-1910 by Kayser & Sohn / Kayserzinn. Powerful hand hammered design in characteristic German Jugendstil. No lid. Stamped Phoenix mark and Kayser. Together with a burner by Jan Eisenlöffel, c 1900. The burner with “hammered” puce glass walls made in the 1990’s to fit the exact style of the original. Height of teapot "8¾/ 22 cm, width of burner width of burner "5¼/ 13 cm. Condition of teapot: one end of the handle not fixed to the body and some loss to the rattan wrapping. Condition of burner: part of the burner mechanism missing (replacements are easy to find) as are a few of the small hooks that fix the glass walls.
