A very small oval concave enamel plaque with a putto painted en grisaille on a blue ground. In his minuscule hand the putto is presenting a gilt flower. Limoges, France, 19th renaissance or baroque revival or earlier. Made to be part of a piece of jewelry, an earring or a pendant but was probably never been mounted. Found as is, in a mid-19th century cardboard box. Height "¾ / 1.8 cm. Condition: fine.
