This is a rare Yabu Meizan Censer. It is not decorated with gold details and painting but is still an attractive item with its rich turquoise colored glaze. The first and second images show how it appears under normal lighting. It probably does not have the original cover but this silver one is more functional than the ivory covers we have seen. The silver lids fit perfect.

This is a rare and large, top quality Satsuma Jar by Yabu Meizan. The silver koro lid is not original to the piece. The gold detail and painting are beautiful. It is stoutly potted and measures 9 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide. This piece is not signed but at on time it was. The original signature has been covered up by an excellent restoration to a drill hole. The price reflects these flaws and even so, it still is a fabulous Meiji era display piece.

The is a small stoutly made cloisonne teapot. The piece shows better and the enamels are more glossy than what is see here in the close-up enlarged images. The condition is good but there is some enamel damage on the lid that can be seen in the images and the bronze rim of the pot is flattened a bit. The piece is 3 1/2 inches tall and about 4 inches across at the spout. Like many of Namikawa Yasuyuki pieces. the ground color is black.

This is a fine Pair of wireless enamel vases done in the style of Sosuke. These are unsigned but we believe the artist is Kumeno due to the enamel colors. These vases stand 7 1/2 inches tall and they are quite heavy in hand. The rims look like silver but they are not. Over all condition is excellent. As pointed out in the last image are two minor spots on one vase. One is a faint irregular line that is not a craze or crack, and the other spot a faint looking shape that looks like a bud. This is a very fine and rare Japanese cloisonne box. The piece could have been made by Kumeno because of the style and quality. This box has been masterfully repaired on the bottom underside to chips in the dark blue enamel. The repair look great with no silver wire work and none of the flowers affected. The box has also not been sprayed. It has gilded bronze rims and this has worn. The box measures 4 3/4 by 4 1/4 and is 2 1/4 inches tall.
