This is a vase that looks much like a piece made by Namikawa Yasuyuki. This is an example of one of those pieces that would mysteriously wind up with a fake Namikawa mark etched into the bottom and then turn up in New York Gallery or auction house. The quality of this vase is very fine, but I believe it to have be made by Honda or Shibata(a student of Namikawa). The vase is very heavy and has thick glossy enamel. At 7 1/4 inches tall it is large for a vase of this style. Condition is very good but there is a slight flaw in the enamel that can be seen in the last image.
