This is a beautiful Japanese cloisonne enamel vase done in the complex style of an early Sosuke. The colors and tonal variations are wonderful. A few years ago I had sold this vase and was recently able to buy it back from the Estate. The vase stands 12 1/4 inches tall and is almost 7 inches wide. This vase is in very good condition but it does have a perfectly restored drill hole on the underside and a slight enamel flaw near the base.
