Date the 19th century.

Measurements about : 5 3/4" (14.5 cm) tall, 3 7/8" (10 cm) wide and 2 3/4" (7 cm) deep.
Simplified shape carving sculpture is from single piece of the wood.

These wonderful small Fusuma (sliding door) of Tenbukuro, a small cupboard at the top of the space in a room of Shoin style, has Sansui-ga (landscape picture).
It appear that these sansui-ga were painted by the painter of Kano school.
The left one has the artist seal. We have no information about the artist.

Painted with ink and color on silk, and each Fusuma has black copper Hikite (door pull) and black-lacquered wooden frame...
