Japanese Aka-raku (red rake) chawan or tea bowl by 10th Raku Kichizaemon Tannyu (1795 - 1854).
This chawan has kintsugi, Japanese craft art of repairing with lacquer and gold powder.

Japanese Aka-raku (red raku) vase with carp-form handles.
Artist mark "Raku" on the bottom. The vase is considered to have been made by Raku Tannyu (1795-1854), the 10th Raku Kichizaimon. Raku is historical family of potters in Kyoto.

Measurements : 6 1/8" (15.5 cm) diameter x 6" (15.2 cm) hight.
Weight about : 490 grams.
