Japanese scholar painting Suiboku-ga, titled "Chomei Fuki zu (motif of longevity, noble and wealth)", features pine and chrysanthemum with sumi ink on silk.
Signed artist name "Koseki" and sealed.
Nakanishi Koseki (1807-1884) studied under Oda Kaisen in Kyoto and gained a reputation as Nanga artist.
Date from the late Edo to the early Meiji period. ( around the mid 19th century )

Measurements about : 46 1/2" x 12 3/8" (118cm x 31.5cm),
Painted area : 10 1/4" x 7 5/8" (26cm x 19.4cm).
It is in good condition with a splotch in the upper right-hand corner as seen in the photo.
