Daikoku is one of the Seven Lucky Gods of Japan, deity of good luck and good fortune, and is standing on two rice bales, holding a hammer in the right hand and carrying the big sack over his left shoulder.
Date the 19th century.

Measurements about : 5 3/4" (14.5 cm) tall, 3 7/8" (10 cm) wide and 2 3/4" (7 cm) deep.
Simplified shape carving sculpture is from single piece of the wood.
It is in good condition expect that there are aged scratches on the surface.
