Ebisu and Daikoku, being two of the Seven Lucky gods of Japan, are often depicted in pairs.
Ebisu is regarded as the tutelary deity of all occupations, especially of fishing, farming and commerce, hold a fishing rod in his right hand and carrying a large sea dream under his left arm.
Daikoku is deity of good luck and good fortune, standing on two rice bales, holding a hammer in the right hand and carrying the big sack over his left shoulder.
