A wonderful 1830's ladies' reticule with a little bit of everything! The purse is fashioned of cream satin and decorated with chain stitched floral embroidery, moss green and dusky pink velvet bands , gold metallic lace, spangles, and beads. The best part is a flip down bottom which hides a mirror within. Green silk lining. There is shattering to the cream silk, especially on the sides. 7” by 7”.

Lovely Georgian dragee box, circa the early 19th century. These boxes were usually filled with sugared almonds and were often given at weddings. This box features a glass top displaying a white dove holding an envelope with a heart in its beak. It is surrounded by a flower, a heart and what appears to be a flag, all bordered by a circle of flowers. The box is decorated with gilded card around the sides and a marbled card base. Absolutely fabulous 19th century chandelier seed pearl earrings. The top florettes feature drilled mother-of-pearl backs to which the pearls are fastened by horsehair; the balls and chandeliers appear strung with silk. These rare pieces are in very good condition; some of the silk threads are a little loose. Measure 2 1/2”.

This gold Georgian band packs a lot of family history into a very small package! It is both a wedding or engagement ring and a mourning ring. The inscription on the interior reads: “ACD to DBM May 7 1807”. Added later, the inscription continues: “to ACD died Aug 23rd 1838 aged 54”. The outside of the band is engraved “Desier 1897”. Tests strong at 14K. Good condition. Ring size 6.

Stunning Georgian era sentimental ring, probably French, featuring blue paste set with a gilt and silver rosecut diamond flower, surrounded by a border of tiny rose cuts. The reverse of the ring is inscribed with an image of forget-me-nots, a common message of affection on early jewelry. Carved scrolling gold band marked 585 at a later date on the band exterior, per European regulations. Very good condition; some wear to glass. Asymmetrical leaves appear to be original. Ring size 4 1/2”.

Fantastic , probably French or German, featuring blue pansies with beaded surrounds. Poissarde means “fishwife” in French, and, indeed, these back-to-front hoops resemble fishhooks. Very good condition; slight wear to enamel. Hoops measure 3/4”.

Georgian hair, enamel and gold mourning pendant. Woven brown hair is set into a glass compartment and is visible on both sides. Front features a white enamel border, signifying that the departed was a single woman, and is inscribed in gold lettering : “Anne Amyatt ob 20 Oct 1761 AE 26”. Georgian gold memorial swivel ring, featuring plaited brunette hair on one side and an intaglio crest on the other, flanked by an amethyst on each side. The crest is comprised of the figure of a dragon (or possibly a hound!) over a shield over a banner bearing the motto “sed labe sine decus” or “honor without a stain”. Pretty aubergine silk reticule dating from the second quarter if the 19th century. Neatly embroidered with the initials 'E.E.' worked in floral sprigs, and decorated with flowers and silk covered acorn tassel heads. Gorgeous fire-colored silk lining.
