A wonderful 1830's ladies' reticule with a little bit of everything! The purse is fashioned of cream satin and decorated with chain stitched floral embroidery, moss green and dusky pink velvet bands , gold metallic lace, spangles, and beads. The best part is a flip down bottom which hides a mirror within. Green silk lining. There is shattering to the cream silk, especially on the sides. 7” by 7”.

Stunning little 15k gem set ring in the Georgian style, set with a pink garnet, flanked by emeralds, flanked by pearls. High scrolled setting. Marks appear to be for mid 20th century Birmingham. Ring size 3 3/4.

Lovely Georgian dragee box, circa the early 19th century. These boxes were usually filled with sugared almonds and were often given at weddings. This box features a glass top displaying a white dove holding an envelope with a heart in its beak. It is surrounded by a flower, a heart and what appears to be a flag, all bordered by a circle of flowers. The box is decorated with gilded card around the sides and a marbled card base. Absolutely fabulous 19th century chandelier seed pearl earrings. The top florettes feature drilled mother-of-pearl backs to which the pearls are fastened by horsehair; the balls and chandeliers appear strung with silk. These rare pieces are in very good condition; some of the silk threads are a little loose. Measure 2 1/2”.

This gold Georgian band packs a lot of family history into a very small package! It is both a wedding or engagement ring and a mourning ring. The inscription on the interior reads: “ACD to DBM May 7 1807”. Added later, the inscription continues: “to ACD died Aug 23rd 1838 aged 54”. The outside of the band is engraved “Desier 1897”. Tests strong at 14K. Good condition. Ring size 6.

Lovely 9k gold Georgian mourning ring, featuring a glass compartment containing plaited blond hair, surrounded by tiny seed pearls. Carved, reeded split shoulders and shank. Very good condition; one chip to glass; wear to gold on reverse of ring head. Size 8.

Stunning 18th century silver gilt and emerald pendant earrings , featuring a central bow surmounted and surrounded by florettes, leaves and teardrops. Hinged closures. Wear to gilt and stones, but lovely and wearable. Measure 3 1/4” from hook to tip.

Stunning Georgian era sentimental ring, probably French, featuring blue paste set with a gilt and silver rosecut diamond flower, surrounded by a border of tiny rose cuts. The reverse of the ring is inscribed with an image of forget-me-nots, a common message of affection on early jewelry. Carved scrolling gold band marked 585 at a later date on the band exterior, per European regulations. Very good condition; some wear to glass. Asymmetrical leaves appear to be original. Ring size 4 1/2”.

Fantastic , probably French or German, featuring blue pansies with beaded surrounds. Poissarde means “fishwife” in French, and, indeed, these back-to-front hoops resemble fishhooks. Very good condition; slight wear to enamel. Hoops measure 3/4”.

Georgian hair, enamel and gold mourning pendant. Woven brown hair is set into a glass compartment and is visible on both sides. Front features a white enamel border, signifying that the departed was a single woman, and is inscribed in gold lettering : “Anne Amyatt ob 20 Oct 1761 AE 26”. There are several Anne Amyatts in the FamilySearch database, including an Ann Amyatt whose birth was registered in 1735 (the year our Anne would have been born), on July 9, at Saint Clement Danes, Westminst...

Superb gold and collet-set diamond Georgian earrings, in a delicate drop design. Even the reverse has pretty engraved details. Very good condition: one spot of solder to reverse; front-to-back-wires may be later replacements. Marker mark “G.S.”. Measure 1 1/2”.

Georgian gold memorial swivel ring, featuring plaited brunette hair on one side and an intaglio crest on the other, flanked by an amethyst on each side. The crest is comprised of the figure of a dragon (or possibly a hound!) over a shield over a banner bearing the motto “sed labe sine decus” or “honor without a stain”. The motto appears to belong to the Earl of Eldon of the Scott family, but their armorial figures are lions, so more research is need to track the original owners down! V...

Pretty aubergine silk reticule dating from the second quarter if the 19th century. Neatly embroidered with the initials 'E.E.' worked in floral sprigs, and decorated with flowers and silk covered acorn tassel heads. Gorgeous fire-colored silk lining. Very good condition; a few faded spots; a few loose threads on the acorn tassels. Measures 9 3/4” by 7 1/4”.

Super early Victorian giardinetti brooch set with multicolor paste stones, marcasites, and a pearl, in silver. Giardinetti jewelry (from the Italian for garden) was popular in the late 18th and early 19th century and depicted a basket of flowers set with brightly colored stones. The basket is formed of silver twist and set with marcasites. The flower bouquet features pink, red, green and clear pastes, marcasites and a central natural pearl. Gorgeous Georgian rose cut diamond ring in the form of a flaming heart, set on a 9k gold band. The features a large central stone surrounded by nine smaller stones. Very good condition. Ring size 4 1/2.
