Rare coin silver beer or ale pitcher by George Baker of Providence, Rhode Island (c.1825), 9-5/8" tall to top of finial, 7- 5/8" tall to top or rim, 8-3/4" long from spout to end of handle, 4-3/8" diameter at rim, 4-1/2" at base, apple-shaped body on short circular stepped base, short thin pouring spout with strainer, hinged domed cover with ball finial, hollow C-shaped handle with applied thumb grip, inscription on one side "In Remembrance of JOSHUA H. BATHBONE." and on other side "To Thomas S. and Mary N. Slocum. A token of thanks. 1834", marked underneath "G.BAKER" in a rectangular punch.
