A Korean Rare/Fine/carved Characters White Porcelain Square Bottle:
Korea, Choson period, 19th - early 20th century
This square white porcelain bottle carved with 4 characters (Man) on the sides
and incised with a style of clouds around body, lotus petals on the top mouth
which is one of kinds of typical Korean ceramics in Choson dynasty (1392-1910).
It is covered overall with clear and glossy peach red around the bottom,
and blue tinged white glaze whole surfaces, this bottle made with a very naï¿½ve in shape and unglazed foot rim, with the tall tapering neck and rising to the square lipped mouth as well.
It is very find condition with unglazed foot rim and firing smoke apart ot the base.
It measures 15.5cm x 9cm (6 1/8ï¿½ x 3 1/2ï¿½).
