A Pair of Very Fine Chinese White Nephrite Jade Prunus-Form Ink pots:
China, Qing dynasty, 19th century-or early 1900s.
The first ink pot is a pale celadon white jade, to set on a raised low foot rim very good carving with a prunus flower head formed ink pot with four section petal shape nephrite jade with a translucent stone, black vein incursions and ink traces inside pot, and the second ink pot is
a white jade with resset on the top, also to set on a raised low foot rim, and it’s an almost identical ink pot described above. They’re in very fine conditions without any damages.
Measurements: 5.08cm x 6.99cm or 2” x 2 ¾”, and 5.08cm x 7.31cm or 2” x 2 7/8”
