A Pair of Fine Korean Brass Candle Sticks (Holders):
Korea, late Josion period, late 19th C.,or early 20th C.
A pair of brass candle sticks are of slender elegant designs in asymmetrical H-shapes,
and are composed of three parts; light reflecting mirror with incised peonies, attached three
bats each panel and Shu (longevity) on the center, a chain attached snuffer, candle holder with incised base and its supporting slender post with a large base pan incised with floral peony branches. It is in very find condition but one small bat’s wing missing.
It measures approximately 65.5cm H. x 21.6cm D. (25.75” h. x 8 ½”) of the base pan.
