A Very Fine and Rare Chinese Ge-Type Gong Shape Vase-18th/19th C.:
China, 18th or early 19th century.
Of rectangular form compromised of circular mouth and foot surrounding
elongated rectangular body, moulded in raised relief around the exterior with the geometric designs, horizontal and straight devisions, applied with a thick pale grey glaze suffused through out with an unven brown crackles in imitation of Southern Song Geyao, its foot rim and bottom unglazed with a Chinese characters in ink on base.
It’s in very fine condition with any typical damages except one tiny chip on the upper corner
and glaze off on the mouth rim.
It measures 20cm x 8cm x 8cm (8” x 3 1/8” x 3 1/8”).
