A Very Rare/Fine Korean Silver Metal Rimmed Punchong Ware Brushed Tea Bowl-15th C.: Korea, Joseon dynasy, 15h century.
A Conical form set on a high rised ring foot applied with a white slip brushed
in the interior with five spur marks on the well, unusually this white brushed punching tea bowl
applied with a silver metal rim around the mouth, and a celadon glaze applied over all, ring foot traces with several sand supports with a wheel mark on the base, slightly warped.
It’s in very fine codition without any damages, it measures 14.5cm x 5.4cm h. ***Please see one of examples of Korean celadon bowl with silvered rim (see photo #6).
