An Extremely Rare/Fine Korean White Bamboo Formed with Lizard Bottle Vase-19th C.: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century.
a Cylindrical bamboo form bottle vase with applied fitural lizards and bamboo leave painted in
iron accented on shoulder, applied with a very fine transparent white glaze over the surfaces,
sculptured two lizards climbing on bamboo stem lively, two set of three leaves on shoulder and around neck and mouth rim, especially between two bamboo joins on its stemp applied raised dots unusually, base unglazed.
It’s in perfect condition with a clear white glaze without any chips or repairs at all, it measures 16.7cm h. x 13.5 cm d.
