A Very Rare/Fine Korean Unified Silla Yaksa ((Bhaishaiyaguru) Standing Bronze Figurine-8th C.:
Korea, Unified Silla dynasty, Circa 8th century.
Standing on a pierced lotus plinth, a left hand holding a medicine bowl,
bronze cast figure with hollow back, a bowl (medicine bowl) in the left hand, the right hand held
in abhaya muda, the face framed by pendulous ears and unisa with arched brows and down cast
eyes. It’s in good condition with a natural dark black broze patina over the surface.
it measures 3.1” (8cm h.) and 2.6 oz.
