A Very Fine/Rare/Large Korean Standing Polychrome Pigments Painted Wood Dong-Ja: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century
A depicting large standing carved Dong-Ja figure is very naïve, and with holding a large lotus leaf with both hands, painted in red, blue, green, white and black pigments, a standing figure on black painted wood pedestal.
It’s in very fine condition without any chips but ordinally cracks with its age.
Measurements: 27 1/2” H x 12 1/2” W x 8 1/2” D (69.3cm h. x 31.7cm w. x 21.5cm d.).
