A Very Fine Blue and White Korean Porcelain Globular Jar-19th C.:
Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century.
The globular jar on raised and recessed ring foot and with slightly everted collar,
decorated in underglaze blue with two peony sprays below a band of cusped clouds,
the neck with parallel lines, beneath a thick, blue-tinged clear white glaze overall,
It’s in very fine condition without any repairs or cracks but a very slight discoloration on other side. It measures 5 ¾” h. x 6 ¾” d. (14.6cm x 17cm).
