A Two Very Fine Authentic Korean Goryeo Bronze Mirrors-11th / 14th C.: 1) The design is cast in relief on the obverse of this Mirror depicts a ship sailing on a stormy sea. A large dragon arises from the upper left and right with clouds of spray cap the surging waves. ***Reference: Korean Art, The Brooklyn Museum, 1987, page 68, #26 An identical Goryeo bronze mirror sold at Christie’s, New York, Korean Art including Robert Moore Collection, 28, March 2006, lot #565, 2) A Rare Korean Lotus Petal-Shape Goryeo Bronze Mirror. Lotus petal shaped mirror that features a well patinated surface with slight black silvery and pale green patina around raised edges, molded with two vertical row inscriptions on the right and knob on the center. They’re in good condition, measurements: 15,5cm d. x 15.5cm and 10.5cm x 8.2cm.
