Handmade Japanese paper with shibori (tie-dyeing) pattern which has soft texture. The handmade Japanese paper was designated as the UNESCO intangible world heritage in 2014. It is generally made of bast fibers of "kozo" or "mitsumata" tree. It is soft but very strong. Dyed with natural brown color. Girl's summer kimono made of asa (hemp) with kasuri pattern which is called "akaso kasuri" and it has not been woven these days. Generally in good condition, however it has some stains, dirty line in the shoulders and sleeves, and also some stains. Also, some of the brown kasuri parts are weak as the dye contains iron. Dochu-gi (coat) made of kudzu-fu (kudzu is "devil's tongue in English), which is handwoven of kudzu fibers for wefts and cotton threads for warps.
