kayaku-ire (flask, gunpowder case) made of wood with rare and beautiful urushi which was made in Tsugaru in Aomori prefecture. It is Tsugaru-nuri and a half is imitating "kaba-zaiku" which is handcraft of cherry bark and the other is "kara-nuri" which has tens of layers of urushi and it sometimes takes more than 6 months to finish. In good condition but the lid is lost and urushi came off parts in the bottom. 19th century. D:15.5cm x 4cm
