Chogappo which is made of plain weave silk fragments. All hand sewn with red silk threads. "Pojagi" is a general name for wrapping cloth and "chogappo" is one kind of pojagi which is patchwork with silk as well as asa ( reference source: "Korean Embroidery and Wrapping Cloths from the Choson Dynasty" published by Japan Art & Culture Association in 1995 ). Yosegire-juban (under kimono) made of fragments recycled from old kimono. They are: silk crepe with beni-itajime shibori (board-clamped dyeing), katazome (stencil-resist-dyeing), figured silk etc. All the fragments are vegetable dyed such as beni (safflower), shikon (purple grass root) and ai (indigo) etc. It has pongee silk lining and some threads are hemp. Junrei's hakui (pilgrim's hanten) with many stamps of holy places in Shikoku, which is made of white hand-spun cotton. Kaji-zukin (fireman's hood) made of vegetable indigo dye cotton with hand-stitched sashiko. Sashiko threads is also indigo dyed cotton. Judging from the logo in the front panel, hiragana "To" shows it belongs to the "To" brigade of the number 10-kumi (group 10). Edo hikeshi had "I-Ro-Ha 47 groups.
