"Nuno Sashi Habaki", a pair of ankle covers with sashiko for protecting shin and ankle when a woman worked in the field. The ground cloth and sashiko threads are made of indigo dye cotton. The last image is from the book "Noragi" written by Fukui Sadako published by Hosei University Shuppan-kyoku. The first half of the 20th century. Hyotan design sake container which is made of kami-ito (paper cord) and painted with urushi and has momiji (maple leaves) with red urushi. Crafts made of paper cord were very popular in Edo period and they were called "Kami Nagato", those are bowls, tabacco cases, inro (small container for a personal seal) and so on. Maiwai-gi which is a festive kimono of fishermem. It was given to fishermen from a master of fishermen or an owner of a fish boat on the occasion of large catch. It is mostly made of cotton with auspicious motifs with katazome (stencil-resist-dye) and partly hand painting. Pilgrim's hanten made of thin white cotton with many stamps of the sacred sites that are called "Shodo-shima Hachiju-Hachi-kasho Reijo (Shodo Island 88 holy places) located in Kagawa prefecture in Shikoku.
