Asa (hemp) han-juban (short under kimono) with kasuri pattern whose wefts and warps are hand-plied and natural indigo dyed. It is produced in Omi (Shiga Pref.) It has beautiful three kinds of kasuri cloth and the dye is all natural, probably made in Echigo (Niigata Pref.). Cover for tanto (short sword) or other item made of animal skin and coated with urushi. It has the crest of "Roku-mon-sen" meaning six coins which is the crest of Sanada clan. In the clan, Sanada Yukimura is especially known for a genius strategist of war. He challenged his arch enemy Tokugawa for his lord Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 17th century. The lining is thin silk cloth.
